The Rabbit Vets Directory aims to list vets who are experienced at treating rabbits.

Many pet owners do not even consider looking for a rabbit-savvy vet until their rabbit gets sick or injured.  Locating a vet is relatively easy, but finding one that is experienced with rabbits and has a good track record of treating them is another matter.

Rabbits come under the veterinary category known as "exotics".   There are a number of already fully qualifed vets who not only have a special interest in rabbits, but who also undertake further education in rabbit medicine & surgery and may either have, or be working towards, a certificate in exotics.

We are particularly interested in having rabbit owners who have a good rabbit vet recommend them so we can list them on this site.  If you have a rabbit savvy vet please let us know by filling in the Recommend a Rabbit Vet form.  Vets which have been recommended by rabbit owners are tagged Recommended.

Rabbit Friendly Vets - Tell us About Your Practice

Vets with an active interest and/or expertise in rabbit medicine & surgery are invted to list themselves in the directory by filling in the Add Your Practice form on the main site.

This application form also gives you the option of having a mini web site on the www.rabbit-vet.co.uk domain where you can explain to site visitors in more detail how the practice has handled individual rabbit cases, and blog about news and views from the practice which are rabbit related.
