Welcome to the launch of the new look Rabbit Vets site.

The aim of this site is to provide a publically accessible platform for vets experienced with rabbits and with an interest in rabbit medicine and surgery.

One of the questions we get asked most often is where to find a good rabbit savvy vet. The Rabbit Welfare Association has a member’s only list of experienced rabbit vets. Rabbit rescues normally have details of good local vets experienced with rabbits, as do rabbit breeders.

The vets on this site are responsible for their own content and do not represent this site or its owners. Please do your own research and report any inappropriate content to us via the contact form.

Vets are invited to apply for their own site on this domain. Information from the Galen’s Garden directory will be moved onto the new directories on the relevant domains over the next few weeks

For more general information on rabbits see our Rabbit Information site

Good rabbit vets

Experienced, interested and ideally equipped.

Rabbits are not the easiest of animals to anaesthetise or treat, so good rabbit vets tend to be found in practices interested enough to invest in the right equipment.

Too far away…

Even if a rabbit expert vet is too far away to get to, you can still pay for your own vet to consult with them.

If your vet lacks experience with a particular condition in rabbits, that could be the answer.
